My family went and tried a variety of menu items. I really wish they offered hand-cut noodles, but regardless, the beef noodle soup and wonton noodle soup were good. The beef noodle soup had delicious broth, but the beef was on the rather sparse side, as well as rather thin. The wonton soup however, had a generous portion of wontons, as well as delicious broth. The seasoning on the fried calamari reminded me of popcorn chicken, and the breading was somewhat thick, but the calamari was very tender. Don't bother with the fried tofu as the tofu isn't dried properly before breading, so the breading completly falls off when you're eating this dish. We also tried the soup dumplings which were delicious, and we liked the ratio of filling to wrapper. A total zero for me was their Jasmine milk tea. It may have just been plain jasmine tea with boba, because it was overtly watery, and the boba was a bit too firm. The restaurant is modernly decorated and clean, the servers were attentive and helpful, and there were many menu options, but I'm uncertain based on the food that I'd return.
Was looking for a new place to eat, glad we decided on this restaurant. It was empty inside for a Sunday, thought it was closed. Everyone seems to order to go but I’d say the presentation of the dishes it’s a must to dine in. Food is great, service is great, the price is great for the quality of food and quantity. New favorite spot, worthy of seconds.
Try the spicy trio beef noodles with flat rice noodle. Legit savory bomb. Hainan chicken rice is good, but order dark meat. Smack yourself if you're gonna go in and order chicken breast. Try the shu mai. It's decently good. Got a heavier hint of sweetness and sesame oil. Southern Chinese taste.
