See All ReviewsMost dry fish I’ve ever had in my life, tried to support black business and their service was not very pleasant at all. First time here and would not return very disappointing and dissatisfied. Caribbean food could have a little more better spices to it. Would not recommend. Only good thing was yams and meatballs. Smh
I was really disappointed with my experience. I was genuinely excited to try the food, especially since I’ve had Caribbean cuisine before and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately, this was nothing like what I expected. The food did not taste fresh at all, and the flavors were very off. Everything was extremely salty—so much so that I couldn’t even finish my meal. It was a letdown because I had high hopes going in, but the quality just wasn’t there. I hope this was just an off day, but based on my experience, I wouldn’t return.
I ordered what was supposed to be jerk chicken, rice and peas, collard greens, and patties. There was more bone than chicken. The chicken lacked the spices necessary to be called jerk chicken. It was bland. Half of the rice was hard and all of it lacked flavor. I received over cooked cabbage instead of collard greens. The patties (beef and chicken) however, were delicious!
