Finally got around to checking out this well-loved neighborhood spot and the food was absolutely delicious. You can call in your order or wait - I went around 11:30 and the wait was less than ten minutes. I had the pernil with rice, pigeon peas, and maduros. Flavorful all around, the pernil was tender, the maduros were perfectly cooked - not too oily and toasted. I had to keep myself from eating the whole plate. I wish the restaurant had empanadas and maybe some desserts on the menu but that could be me being greedy. I’m really happy with what I got and will be back to try out the chicken stew!
How unprofessional! Nasty food and i found hair in my food. They take forever and she looks at you very weird. I feel really sad with my experience. I expected more from her. Horrible Never again!!
Carmen her self is an amazing woman very kind and warm welcoming to her customers!!! She is truly the best Puerto Rican food I’ve in a very long time. Will definitely be back here when I’m back in the area!!!
