See All ReviewsThis is a hidden gem! 💎 Every time I have family over from other states, I always take them to this place which to me are the best tacos in all of Cincinnati! I’ve known this place for 10+ years and every single time I go and eat there it does not disappoint ! The price, the quality of food the amount of food and the vibes are so authentic . When you walk in your greeted at the front desk by the cashier. You have to go to the back of the grocery store to encounter the kitchen. very hole in the wall and the way most Taquerias are like in MEXICO! As soon as you arrive to the kitchen, you’re greeted by the cooks who take your order and on a system that works by merit and honesty, once you finish your meal you head the cashier and tell them how many tacos you had. It’s a system that works by honesty and honor which is engraved in every Mexican that grows up in Mexico, it is part of our culture! Honesty, merit, and honor! That’s the essence of this business, but the highlight is definitely the tacos. They’re cooked to perfection and every bite feels like heaven . The Taqueria is one of its kind in Cincinnati and I will continue to recommend this place to anybody that has never been . I did gate keep for a while because I did not want this place to become too overcrowded, but I think it’s time to give it to shine it deserves !! 😭🤝🏽🔥 I’ve been a customer for over 11 years and I will continue to come back every chance I get !
TL;DR: Sans hyperbole, the bestest burrito of my life, time and time again. Since coming to Cincinnati circa New Year 2026, I've been visiting this specific restaurant probably 4-5 times per week--partly on the premise I work nearby but MOSTLY on the premise that its burritos are *incredible*. I cannot emphasize enough how truly delicious this hole-in-a-wall is. It is as authentic as Cactus Grill in Champaign IL (the burrito place of my heart circa 2010-2012 and my only point of comparison beyond US-wide chains ala Chipotle). It is, as far as I can tell, family owned and operated. It is part of a family-owned grocer, so you could hypothetically buy fresh fruits e.g. Mexican mangos. Given the freshness and availability of the various ingredients, there can be some slight variation in what "everything" means on a given day. I have had burritos with extra avocado, or with extra pepper, or with more tomato; in my view, this has never been an issue as despite now having had maybe 50 burritos from this place, every single one of them has been a 10/10 soul-nourishing experience. (But it might be good information for the prospective burrito-getter? Especially since sometimes you might get the green sauce or the red sauce or both sauces, or lots of green lime or just a slice or so; always delicious, never a problem, but there is this variation!) The service is quick, whether dine-in or takeaway; ten minutes max, it seems, from time of order to when I am paying and going back to my office. The atmosphere is jovial, with what I presume is Mexican music playing. The staff are kind, and my suspicion based on observing them is that they are treated well. Takeaway boxes are thick and come with plentiful napkins; all dining-in tables include large hand sanitizer dispensers i.e. there are no problems here. Price-wise, as of March 2nd, 2026, my steak burrito (asada burrito?) is $12, which strikes me as a reasonable price. In practical terms, the burrito is large enough that, in my capacity as a 6-foot, 240-lb man, I can remain full throughout the rest of the day; if the burrito is timed to be consumed circa 2-3PM, perhaps an evening yogurt circa 11:30PM is all that is necessary to ensure a sound sleep. Respectfully, I have not tried the tacos here on the premise that there is a taco truck outside my office building (to which I venture once per week at present), so I cannot comment on them. I presume they are also delicious. My recommendation here is strictly on the burrito, which is divine. Many thanks to you for reading my review, I hope it has been helpful for your decision-making.
My all time favorite place to get some delicious authentic food. The tacos are my go to and are so delicious! Highly recommend this place 🥳
