Terrible!!!! I gave it 1 star because 0 was not an option! Customer service was great but I'm mad I spent money on the food. It took forever to come out (the place was not busy at all), it wasn't hot and the presentation was as if I made myself a plate at home with an extremely small portion I might add. The steak tasted bad, hopefully we don't get sick. The shrimp ceviche lacks flavor and is possibly the smallest shrimp I have ever eaten. Overall the food was nasty and thrown on the plate luke warm, but hey... be your own judge.
The atmosphere and server were very nice. The food was horrible. They did not have any avocados to make guacamole. The house margarita ingredients are visible to customers but it doesn't taste like they put in those ingredients. I don't know if this is a common thing for this restaurant, but most of the things we wanted on the menu were not available. My gross entree and my daughter's burrito that had a giant bone in it was removed from our bill. My husband's steak however had a quarter of it contain just fat and that was not addressed. We were really looking forward to going there and having a good time with some tasty food, but unfortunately that did not happen.
Based on others recommendations we tried Casa Jimenez. We had fajitas for two and $5.00 margaritas. We could not finish our meals, brought them home and had for lunch the next day. The reviews were correct everything was wonderful. Looking forward to trying other items on the menu. If you like Mexican/Latin food give this place a try. You will not be disappointed.
