I loved the food, the place is very nice, and the waitress Mónica provided excellent service. She is very kind and very helpful — you can tell right away who does their job very well. I would definitely come back and I would absolutely recommend the place
My first time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Any of the Palenque chains will always be a great place to eat. Yarelly was very knowledgeable and recommended a parrillada and it was delicious. We also ordered a choriqueso and super good as well. I will definitely be coming back to try it again
Outstanding experience at Casa Palenque! The food was absolutely excellent—every dish was delicious and full of flavor. What made our visit even better was the exceptional service from Eduardo. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and so kind throughout our entire meal, making us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. If you visit Casa Palenque, definitely ask for Eduardo, you won’t be disappointed! Highly recommend!
We had dinner a night before Mother's Day. The place is lovely, comfortable, and the food is always amazing. We had Chicken Chipotle and Enmoladas with our favorite Cucumber Lemonade. Our server was on point checking on us often and being attentive. Later on , they offered live music. Great evening.
This has to be the best authentic food in McAllen. The staff are passionate about service and about the food that is prepared, which is incredibly fresh! As I told them the only thing better than the food was the service! Very Impressed. I had dinner at their sister restaurant (Monica) by the mall but would choose this location over that one any day! The manager here (Pati ) and my waiter (Jorge) went over the top to ensure I had a great experience!
Food is delicious service. Excellent, the Ambient fantastic.👍😍 Love The prices
Casa Palinque strikes a wonderful balance between casual and upscale dining with a relatively simple floor plan, but attractive fixtures and carpet to dampen the sound that so many restaurants suffer from. It’s a great place to take a small group actually hear each other! The uality of the food was outstanding, fresh and delicious authentic dishes along with some innovation. Our server, Miriam, was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The chef stopped by our table, introduced herself and was very inviting. CP will be a regular spot for our family!
In the valley you have Taco Palenque which is a a fast food Mexican place. Think of Taco Cabana but authentic. Then they have Palenque Grill which is much nicer. A place to celebrate a birthday, date night, etc. Now there is Casa Palenque which is somewhere in between. Definitely more casual, but still good quality with a moderate price point. Panchos with fajitas were delicious with a nice flavorful meat. The chips are nice and thick, but crispy. I ordered a small bowl of fideo because I can never pass it up. Good quality and taste all around. Service was attentive, yet fell apart with a long wait for my check. Even after my plate was cleared. All in all a good option in a town filled with Mexican food choices.
