We had such a wonderful experience at Casa Vieja! We celebrated my husband’s birthday there, and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff made the celebration extra special. Thank you for helping us create such beautiful memories. Highly recommended.
Great food but terrible service. I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is neat, however the service was not on par for the price. For lunch for 2 we paid $80 but here's the list of bad; our drinks were never refilled (mine was near empty when the food came and never refilled), when our food was delivered our server never stopped by to see if it was correct or good, my wife ordered another side of rice that we never got until she was finished, we sat for over 15min waiting for the check while the server checked the table next to us twice in that time. Im not sure why this was so bad when it was a rainy day and not that busy.
Tried their vegetarian plate and appreciated its authentic, home-style character. The rice was well-seasoned, the plantains and yuca were properly prepared with good texture, and the salad provided a refreshing contrast to the warmer elements.
