a month agoI ordered the fish and shrimp combo.... Got home and realized I got... Got... The shrimp were perfect but the fish wasn't catfish but swai 😡. So disappointed and no where on their menu board did it say swai and shrimp combo basket. I'll know better next time to specify I want catfish no swai!

7 months ago⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Catfish Floyd’s Catfish Floyd’s is a staple classic — a must-try every time I’m in the Dallas area! I always stop by for their catfish fillets with fries. The fish is always crispy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Their hush puppies aren’t my absolute favorite, but their tartar sauce is homemade, well-seasoned, and has that perfect Cajun twist — not the typical kind that comes from a bottle or packet. It’s honestly the best tartar sauce I’ve ever had! I also love pairing the meal with a nice strawberry soda — it goes perfectly with the catfish. If you’re ever in Dallas, this spot is a must!

8 months agoI normally love this place.. it’s my families and ours first stop every year at the state fair. This year we visited the fair yesterday and it was horrible! Could barely chew the fish or the fries. Don’t know if the food was old or the grease was different but it was not good at all! Won’t be eating it again.

8 months agoI was passing thru from Houston, stopped by after asking for the best catfish around, was directed to this place... Excellent! And they took care of me... Taste like clean catfish, meaning without the oily taste of fish, which means they seasoned and prepped the fish very good...

8 months agoThey still standing tall!! They were nice over the phone when ordering told me 10m wait. No dine in since covid ithink, so drive thur only.. That tartar sauce sooo freaking good MAKE SURE U GET EXTRA kus they only give u one... Everything was fresh & seasoned to perfection.. BTW I got a 3pc fillet. The hushpuppys are good too lol..

2 years agoHad the 3 piece catfish with fries and it was a solid meal for me and my wife. The fish seasoning and the sauce it came with was good. The fries could be better.

3 years agoThe food was terrible! I asked for the catfish fillet with no bones and was given a different type of fish (im thinking coy or swai fish) I asked him what kind was it and he lied and said catfish I said didn’t agree, he said he couldn’t refund me but I could get the catfish with bones. I agreed. This time it was real catfish but it was bad pieces and they were undercooked along with the fries. Don’t waste your time or money. S/n the meal didn’t come with a drink.

Edited 5 years agoThis food here is amazing, it wasn't salty, wasn't over fried, everything was just right. The lines where long about 15 cars deep. The lady manually taking the order walking to each car is kind of rude & impatient. So if I were you I would find a menu online and know what you want already. This was our 1st time and luckily we found a menu, but other than that the experience was great. Oh! Also make sure when you pickup your food you check the order because we ordered hush puppies along with our meal and they weren't in there, and there is no such thing as going back in line or inside due to covid-19.
