It was REALLY GOOD && FRESH !!! Was in the area to visit a place and afterwards, was looking for something to eat nearby. I came across this place on Google maps and my husband and I decided to stop by. If it wasn't for the fish plate banner, I wouldn't have found it, but thankfully I saw a gentleman walk out with a to-go plate. 😄🫶🏾🙌🏾 To the first comers, there are different businesses in the same parking area. It's right at the end on the right side when facing directly at it. There is a gated door there. When you walk in, you will see a convenience store. Walk straight and it's located straight ahead, "Catfish Plate." Order your food, which the prices are VERY reasonable, and the cook will give you a ticket and tell you how long it will be till it's ready. Take your ticket to the front register window of the store and pay for your food and anything else you may like in the store. Pick up your order at the prepared time and you're ready to go! HOT, FRESH, DELICIOUS SEASONED fish AND fries, 4 slices of buttered toast, a side of pickles and peppers and whatever choosing you ordered. It also comes with condiments, like hot sauce, tartar sauce, etc. Just ask for it at the window before leaving just in case. RECOMMENDATION: DEFINITELY!!!!!!
The food is delicious. We drove from a far location to make it before closing. Make sure you get fillers instead of fish strips when ordering the family 15pc catfish filled meal!!! But otherwise everyone enjoyed the food and we will be returning 😊 Great lunch and dinner spot.
I went here only because the fish had good reviews and they weren't lying. By far the best gas station fish and shrimp I've tasted, they give you plenty of food with plenty of condiments. I will be back for sure.
