2 weeks agoNice place, super great food!! chicken strips looked like mummified guinea pigs rather than yummy, but tasted good! Service was nice, nothing bad. Pretty dang expensive though! Be prepared for a bunch of guys there, its near a salty attraction for fishermen. Only thing I didn't enjoy was all the ai everywhere. even the group photo was ai! tottally hire somebody or draw it yourself, much more creative. And the crabs are glued to the tables because I think people were trying to steal them. The macaroni and cheese - I'm pretty sure its the kind you find at HEB with the powder cheese packet, but whatever man.

a month agoHad the burger and it was fresh good loved the fries everything was fresh. Also Got the salad bar had the hard boiled eggs on their and yes loved every bit of it. Freshness cook to order food.

2 months agoI have had the enjoyment of eating at Cathy’s on (2) occasions. My friend has been there several times. The food is outstanding, great portions, great flavor and in a friendly atmosphere. Waite staff are great. The Friday buffet is excellent & shrimp are bountiful. I highly recommend Cathy’s to locals & visitors.

3 months agoThis place is really good. We are here 2 days on a row while visiting family. They have a seafood buffet on Sundays until 7pm. It was delicious! Oysters were good too!

11 months agoThis place was highly recommended—and it didn’t disappoint! We got there just before all the fishermen rolled in, which was perfect timing. I had the grilled shrimp and fish combo with onion rings and the salad bar—everything was fresh and made to order. Others in our group tried the shrimp sandwich, fish sandwich, and hush puppies (which were beyond fantastic). Not a single bite disappointed. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially for first-timers. Would absolutely recommend Cathy’s for lunch anytime!

a year agoIf you're looking for a really delicious, quick meal in a no-fuss cafe you'll love this place! The portions are huge, and the food is very good. The service is always friendly, like talking with a good neighbor. The grilled and fried shrimp meals are very good, a is the fried okra. And the salad bar. We visit every trip!
