Its free. What did you have to complain about?
This is one of the best dfac experiences I've ever had in the Army. The staff has amazing service and they have a large range of food they make, so it doesn't get boring quick. They also take your individual meal preferences into consideration when making meals. Bigger dfacs need to take some lessons from these guys!
Decent defac for a military base that trains round the clock. Just like any defac… you get a bit of options, salad bar, etc… just choose something that will get you through the day and carry on. The omelets, snacks to take with you, and espresso machine are a plus.
As a 92g myself, I'd say there is a touch of zing in the cooks who work here at the RTI DFAC. They have a good menu selection mainly because it's unique to the cooks. Breakfast will always be the same it seems. Time is spent on display of food and Condiments for a Military DFAC. Could have more space in between seating area lol
Since the military took this over instead of the civilians, the service is much better. They have music playing during most meals making the atmosphere much better and the service much friendlier.
This is one of the better DFACs I've been to. However, they are very strict about the food portions, so if you're really hungry, you're gonna have to get creative. Other than that, it's a good dfac. Seats are comfortable, tables are clean, and the staff has always been friendly to me. Just wish they had an ice cream machine! 😝
If you have problems with paperwork or drink machinery, the staff is right there to correct issues. The portions are served as per a serving, which is great for those who need to watch their weight. Great healthy choices with consideration to food allergies. Always great conversation with the staff. Thanks for feeding me.
So I went in, thinking that I would get a burger because no one could screw that up. Turns out they can. The burger was anemic and grey, and I am pretty sure it was boiled. The dishes are seldom clean, and I suspect the staff is feeding the cockroaches.
