See All ReviewsNO FRESH seafood!!!!!!!I was very happy to find anticucho which very few places carry. I saw the reviews and wanted to try out a new place. I am part peruvian and have traveled there often. When I asked if I could substitute the seafood rice on the trio plate to beef. I was informed no, the only way is if i get charged more. I asked why and was informed prices change. So then why are there prices on the menu ? When I mentioned that seafood prices fluctuate as well do the prices change on them? She then told me know because everything is frozen. I was disgusted by this fact. I go to many many peruvian restaurants and understand the lower prices item are sometimes frozen but they always have upgrades. Here NO UPGRADES. ALL FROZEN. Ceviche not worth having if not fresh. I sent it back and only had the antichucho. I am not a fan of cheap farm grade "fish". Update: anticucho not worth having the corn tossed in the same seasoning the meat. The meat was rubbery and overly salted and an awkward herb taste at the end. Many in a pan instead of on the grill. The side sauces were good though. The aji amarillo has just a small dash of heat and nice creaminess. The rocoto sauce had a nice mix of flavor not just heat. I couldn't even finish the dish. The best part was the fried potatoes. When I brought my concerns to the owner I was shown disrespect. Even though I paid for the dish and tipped 40%. She smuggly asked me why not open my own restaurant since its a free country and just look at her Google reviews. So I am helping other understand what they are eating.i did also also enjoy how she questioned that no restaurants is the US have fresh seafood that they all get it frozen. The ignorance and the fact that she could not take any advice shows that as an owner she is not ready.
Very cute Peruvian restaurant. Food was delicious and everyone was extremely nice and happy to be there!
GREAT food! I loved the traditional ceviche and also the causa! The chocolate cake with dulce de leche is delicious!
