We booked a table for 7 for my daughters 16th birthday, we have been before and were eager to come again for a special occasion. The service was wonderful as always and the gentleman are very pleasant and funny. The food. We had pickle trays, poppadoms and a fish and meat sharing platter, super yummy and a nice starter between us all. We stay safe with different Tikka masala and a variety of rice's and naans. We ate the lot and are stuffed! Worth every penny. Wonderful atmosphere, lovely people, gorgeous food. 100% recommended. Thank you for having us
After an enjoyable evening of pub hopping 🍻 with friends, we decided to grab some food to take home for the after-party. Luckily, Chand was right next to where we had parked our cars 🚗, so it seemed like the perfect and convenient choice. The restaurant itself looked quite nice from the inside. It had neat interiors, subtle lighting, comfortable seating arrangements, and friendly service ✨. While waiting for our order, we enjoyed the Bollywood music playing in the background 🎶 which created a pleasant atmosphere. We ordered Tikka Biryani 🍛 along with Raita, the classic Indian yogurt salad usually served with biryani that includes cucumber, tomatoes, onions, and sometimes chillies. After a short wait, our food arrived neatly packed and was handed over with a warm smile 😊. Unfortunately, the food did not quite live up to our expectations. We had specifically asked for the biryani to be spicy 🌶️, but it was nowhere close to that level of heat. The meat was also not cooked as well as it should have been, which was disappointing. Another surprise was that the meat biryani was served with vegetable sambar, which felt a little unusual. The raita was also quite basic; just large slices of cucumber added to thick curd, lacking the usual mix of ingredients. It almost felt like the kitchen might have been in a bit of a rush that evening. That said, I would still like to visit the restaurant again and dine in properly 🍽️ to give it another chance. The ambience and service seemed promising, and hopefully the food experience will be much better the next time around. 🙂
We came here for a birthday meal. They were so kind to a huge group of people, got all our order more than right. Full of flavour and many optionss. I strongly suggest the ice cream for dessert too. Sooo many options tho make sure u take your time and maybe ask the staff what they suggest as they’re very friendly
