Oh my god. The paneer paratha tacos blew my mind. With the mango lassi? I have reached nirvana. To the detriment of my wallet, I will be back many times.

The lively setting, combined with the variety of options available in the area, creates a fun and energetic dining atmosphere. The menu offers a wide range of choices, from traditional Indian classics and street-style chaats to creative fusion items such as paratha tacos. We tried several items during our visit. The chaats were generously portioned; however, the serving size felt slightly larger than necessary relative to the pricing. A more balanced portion-to-price ratio might enhance the overall value. The butter chicken was well-prepared and met expectations, offering the familiar flavor and richness typically associated with the dish. The masala tea was enjoyable and well-spiced. The lassi, however, was milder and less sweet than expected, resulting in a simpler yogurt-forward taste. One of the strongest aspects of Chatpata Austin is the efficiency and cleanliness. The service was quick, the setup appeared well-maintained, and the overall environment felt safe and welcoming. This place is truly and honestly so freaking good. I come here often, Especially for the mango lassi. It's amazing filling food for a great price, hardly any wait, and the containers can be reused which is a definite plus considering its a college area full of students just trying to survive 😭 Been meaning to write a review for ages but each time I get it, I forget to take a picture because I devour it all so quickly (remembered this time!) 10000% recommend. It's so worth it 🙏
