The young lady working the cash was very rude. And they messed up our order, we sat down and each got a chicken sandwich, one with no tomato or pickles, and a spicy sandwich. However the spicy sandwich was not spicy and the pickles and tomato made there way onto the sandwich. The chicken was okay but nothing special, kind of greasy but not bad. Won't be going back, sorry.
I had heard positive reviews about this place and was intrigued as they offered gluten free fried chicken. Being celiac I haven’t had this in several years so I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The chicken was juicy, perfectly seasoned and had a delightful crunchy coating. My dining partner (non gluten free) noted that there was no difference in appearance between her meal and mine (minus the bun) which is saying a lot as oftentimes GF versions of meals are usually lacking. The portions were generous and served piping hot. The atmosphere is casual but very clean and the service was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming back.
Clean but slightly out of place clutter in restraunt, coolers with frozen soups so.e of the lid were.swolen off .we had a 3 piece dinner with a chichen sandwich. The chichen sandwich was freshly made.the bun was wrongly matched as the chichen I was able to squeeze a tablespoon or more of liquid out of and the bun was soggy right away, the 3 piece dinner was very hot and a fairsize sides, the chichen had a nice flavor but it could of in my opinion could.of sat for a fast minute and let the deep fry oil drip away, but it didn't take away from the juicy Ness of the chichen the price was fair and I.would eat here again.
The best fried chicken in Spruce Grove by far. If you’re in a rush, this is not the place for you, but if you’re in the mood for excellent fried chicken, then absolutely go there. The food took about 20 minutes to prepare, but that’s because they prepare the chicken to order. ChcKen is head and shoulders above any other chicken restaurant.
Mouthwatering crispy chicken and fries! Plus since it was Tuesday, we paid only $6 for 2 PCs. and fries!!! My husband and I had an incredible meal for under $20 total!!! Place was extremely clean and service was fantastic! Will be back for more!
This was the worst chicken I have ever had. I could not even eat it. There was a white flour like substance under the skin that was dry in one spot and soggy and slimy in another. There is a spice that shouldn’t be on chicken or the chicken had gone bad. The fries were fine for take out but the pasta salad tasted like it was made with butter, could not stomach it either. Their menu does not state that you will get thigh and drum stick only for a six piece dinner, they try to hide it by saying that white meet cost extra. I would not recommend that you spending hard earned money on this inedible product.
noticed Spruce Grove has a new chicken restaurant so we gave it a try , ordered the 15 piece being friday got 2 large sides + a large gravy free, cooked to order so its the freshest possible the regular chicken was delicious half the order was spicy, if you like the heat then this is for you large clean dining room great location super friendly staff we'll be back for sure
I’ve recently seen posts about this restaurant and with all the positive feedback I wanted to try them out. Very nice place with quit a variety on their menu. I went for the 3 piece chicken with 2 sides. I had fries and gravy with mine. They also have beautiful baked goods made daily and a variety of soups for sale. The baked goods are philipino based and delicious. The chicken is made fresh to order, (at least mine was) so be ready to wait a few minutes. Legs and thighs are the conventional pieces but the owner told me I could upgrade to breast for a couple bucks. I like the dark meat so I was fine with the standard order. The crust is crunchy and flavourful. Very good. And the meat is really tender and well cooked. The fries are just as nicely prepared. The cook came out and introduced himself, and pointed out the baker, who was still in the kitchen. All in all, the staff are very friendly and the food is worth repeating. Since I like to support local, ChcKen will be my go to spot for fried chicken. I didn’t take pictures of my lunch but did buy some baked goods to bring to my beautiful daughter in law.
