9 months agoMet family for lunch today. The three of us went for the lunch special which the waitress called it the Tex Mex. 2 Meat filled enchiladas regular rice and beans dish with a side of guacamole salad. The enchiladas had no flavor, we couldn’t eat this meal. The rice was bland as were the beans. Very little food on these plates, I know I got less than half a teaspoon of the guacamole. We all agreed that this was the worst Mexican food we have ever had. Chips were tough and hard. For 3 adults we received 1 half cup of salsa. To add insult to injury the bill was $73.00 before the tip. I don’t recommend this place and would never go back. I feel badly for my brother who picked up the check. I don’t like to leave reviews for anybody whether good or bad, but I felt that I needed to let everyone know. It may have been good some time ago but not now.

a year agoThis is one of the best Mexican restaurants I have ever been to. The ambience, the service, and the food are excellent! I had to speak to the chef as I left, to tell her what a great job she had done. I lamented the fact that there were not very many people at this restaurant. I don’t understand that, because this place should be full all day long. If you are passing through the city of Giddings, Texas, you should absolutely stop here for some of the best Mexican food you will ever eat!

a year agoSo Good! Everything Homemade and Delicious We ordered the Family Fajitas and loved every bite. The homemade tortillas were incredible — soft, fresh, and full of flavor. All the meats were juicy and perfectly grilled, and every side felt like it was made with love. Real, honest Mexican food. We’ll definitely be back!

a year agoThe food was delicious, the agua de horchata was marvelous, super tasty, creamy and refreshing. The alambre was amazing, the flower tortillas were spectacular, so fresh so soft and warm, yummy. Very recommended 👌

2 years agoColorful Mexican decor and super attentive friendly service made for a great experience. Will return for homemade tortillas, endless chips & salsa (mild or spicy), and delicious aguas frescas (huge serving, unable to finish). Beef fajitas were delicious.

3 years agoDon’t miss this Amazing family-run eatery with the most gracious hospitality & delicious menu in an bright decor. Mama’s home-made flour tortillas are best in class! When I asked about the carnitas, Stephanie’s eyes lit up. I knew I made the right choice even before eating them. ☺️The meat melted in my mouth. The charro beans have a balanced flavor. The mango-guava agua fresca tastes like ripe fruit off the tree. To top it all off, this is hands-down the cleanest restaurant in my life.

4 years agoThey have a special blend of coffee ☕️ that is out of this world 🌎. I'm told it's a family secret. The furniture is unique clean and beautiful. The food is amazing 👏. Hat's off to the owners, especially José.
