Wonderful time, great food. Very inviting atmosphere. Very clean inside and out side.
Very good breakfast food at a reasonable price. Clean place, Anxious to come back and try some lunch items.
Truly a diamond of a restaurant!! Had their breakfast, the southwestern omelet with salsa. Oh my goodness!!! The salsa alone is to absolutely die for. I have never tasted salsa this good just to eat by itself! Then also had a side of gravy and biscuits. The gravy is top notch as well. So far the best tasting breakfast place I've ever, EVER, been to. Blows the chain restaurants away! Tara the waitress that waited on me had amazing service, very beautiful and such a sweetheart. I appreciate this visit and will be back for sure!
This restaurant seems to be your average diner with okay coffee and food. The portions are pretty large considering the bill. One note to those thinking of checking it out: they don’t take credit cards. There is an ATM across the street where you can get cash if you need it. The draw for me is the personality of the place and the friendly staff. We visited after running a local road race and looked for a decent breakfast place with potatoes. The bathrooms are little dingy looking but looked clean. They had several specials listed on the wall including a sloppy Joe with fries. I ordered the sloppy Joe and was told a few minutes later that they had not made it and asked what I wanted instead. I opted for the German fried Bologna sandwich which turned out to be pretty good. The fries needed salt but that’s easy to correct.
Great little place . Stopped on our way thru. Food was incredible. Young lady that served us was very good and extremely pleasant . Would definitely eat there again if back that way
My husband and I ate breakfast here this morning, and I wish we would have eaten here sooner on our 3 day weekend trip. It was our first time coming to Cambridge, and we wanted to be sure to give most of the local places a try within those 3 days. Hands down, Chelsea's had THE best food of any place we ate at for the last 3 days. I just wanted to take some time and give them a shout out on Google, and let everyone who stays at Salt Fork Lodge know that if you drive into town about 20 ish minutes down the road from the park, Chelsea's is the best little diner to go to in Cambridge. The staff is so friendly, courteous, kind, and attentive. There were at least three people working and they were all helping each other out, filling drinks, running food, and taking orders. I really loved the home feeling you get eating there. You can just really tell they the staff all get along and are like family there. Now, let's talk about the food. I ordered a Farmers omelet. It was cooked perfectly (not one brown spot), they use real cheese (not processed cheese slices), the ham and green peppers were cooked perfectly, and the eggs were cooked just right. The real start of the show, though, was the cinnamon roll French toast. That was actually to die for. I would eat that everyday if I could, but I live too far away from you all 😂. If we come back, save a seat for us for every meal. Thanks so much for the excellent food and service, you guys rocked it out!
The food was great- it was our 1st time there. The hash is real and they have everything from all you can eat fish to grits to mush, chicken Parmesan, homemade pies, to fried chicken. Large menu. The waitress though! Deb is her name and she is sweeter than pie! What an asset she is to that place. We'd go back just for her.
Food was fantastic. French toast was fluffy and filling, eggs were cooked exactly as asked for, and the diner coffee was what you expected (average but diner coffee is an experience rather than a Starbucks type). Servers were great and coffee cup was never empty. Cash only place so be proactive.
