I ordered my wife the fish & shrimp fried rice which was made differently but it was good, I had the cheesesteak hoagie which was good for the price. Ultimately for me the customer service was great and I felt welcomed, nothing worst than going to a place with rude customer service and you feeling like you're not welcomed there, so I hope things don't change but continue to get better because a lot of Black owned restaurants act like we owe them something because we are of the same race, I didn't get that feeling here!!
We ordered the Mash It Up, Pastrami Reuben, and Brisket Panini. My husband devoured the Mash It Up. The Pastrami Reuben had a great taste and it was well prepared… but there was a lot of fat on my meat. I hate fat and this got in the way of me eating the sandwich the way I wanted to. The brisket Panini had a good taste but I was expecting different bread. It still tasted good though. Here’s the current menu. On my way out I was told they sell fish fried rice too. I’ll return to try it.
This is such a gem in the neighborhood. The menu has great classic diner foods paired with really well thought out smoothies. The service is also top notch as the guy running clearly makes everyone feel at home. Definitely worth the trip!
