Chicago Ramen still has the best ramen, but prices are out of hand. They charge $3 to add an egg - including the "extra dollar surcharge due to egg prices" that never went away after COVID. Come on; it's 2026... That's highway robbery. Also, the service can be hit or miss.

place used to be a dairy queen then an off-brand ice cream shop, both closed in the off season. now it's ramen, year-round. very attentive, personalized service. interior is small, possibly cozy. dishes are good, with good ingredients. for some dishes the flavoring can be on the stronger side, eg, curry.
