a year agoI recently visited a Chicago Ranch and decided to try their bandeja paisa, a classic Colombian dish, and it did not disappoint! The dish was an explosion of flavors, perfectly balancing rich and savory elements. From the juicy chorizo to the crispy pork belly and the creamy avocado, every bite was a delight. The beans were cooked to perfection, the rice was fluffy, and the fried egg added a satisfying touch. The sweet plantains provided just the right contrast to the hearty portions of meat. The atmosphere of the restaurant added to the experience, with vibrant décor and warm, welcoming staff that made me feel like I was dining in the heart of Colombia.
