See All ReviewsWe had a wonderful experience at this conveyor belt sushi restaurant. The kids really enjoyed watching and choosing the sushi. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, the seafood is very fresh, and the desserts were delicious. We would definitely come back.
I was seated right by the door while it was freezing outside, even though there were empty seats on the other side of the restaurant. I thought it was cool to finally have another sushi conveyor belt spot in CT, especially after the one in West Hartford closed. The selection on the belt is very light. You’re not going to see the variety or volume you’d get at a place like Kura. The ramen was very mild in flavor and I expected the egg to be jammy. When I asked the waiter if they had shichimi, he looked confused and pointed to a sriracha bottle 😕. The food is also pricey. The ramen and rolls were standard.
So much fun this revolving sushi andJapanese restaurant. You have to see this motorized rail system which runs length of dining room, where sushi choices are paraded around on a track and you help yourself to what looks great! Or order from a very complete menu with classic teriyaki, tempura, ramen, and udon. We loved everything except grilled squid which arrived barely warm. Obviously not right off the grill which was a disappointment. Service staff was very attentive, explained how things worked and were quick to bring anything not on the tramway (drinks, soup, salads). High recommend this fun spot! GREAT FOR KIDS!!
