The waitresses ignored me while I was waiting for a pickup order and the portion of meat in my taco would upset a toddler
Greeted as soon as we walked in the door. Told to sit wherever we wanted. Were immediately provided with chips and salsa and drink orders taken. After we ordered, we sat and chatted for a bit and had our chips refilled. Food was good. Service was great. Would go back here again. Thanks for the great service ladies!
The food was fantastic!! Will definitely be going back!
Very good Mexican food. Really good service. Nice to be able to sit and enjoy a great meal with locally owned restaurant.
Delicious food. We surprised them with a party of 10. After some scrambling around, they did a great job. The waitress was on her first day, but she was great.
Came here to give this place another try after having a bad experience the first time. Today, after giving my family and I our drinks, the waitress never came back. A couple walked in shortly after we did (approx 5 min). They received drinks, chips and salsa, and menus. We sat and waited but she never came to our table. Mind you, there were 3 ladies in the front helping. We weren’t going to continue to wait for menus or chips and salsa. Our first experience was similar as we got waited on last (but we weren’t the last to arrive) and our food never came out because they served all the people who came in after us. When we finally told our waitress we never got our food, she let us know our order never got put in. It was busy that night so we took that into consideration but receiving cold food on top of forgetting about us was not okay. Like I said we tried to give it another try today and it’s a no for me. If you’re a local and they know you, they’ll probably wait on you.
Newly opened, this Mexican restaurant was a tasty find in a town that has very limited options for dining. Chips were crisp and fresh; salsa needed a little salt but had good flavor and just the right amount of heat. Our plates had generous portions and definitely had that home-cooked taste. There were lots of tables and booths available for seating with 3 wall-mounted TVs playing shows that kept my 3rd grader entertained. Service was fast and friendly. Drink refills came without us having to ask for them. We enjoyed our late lunch and were very glad to find some good Mexican food in Idalou.
