Christmas eve Chinese Ordered general Taos chicken. Chicken was dry. Dish was very sweet asked for extra spicy there was no spicy to the dish zero red pepper flakes. Also asked for sesame chicken also two sweet. Writing this review from the bathroom at 3am Not good.
Just ordered house low mein, house fried rice, crispy coconut shrimp, rangoons, chicken in garlic sauce and egg drop soup and all of it tasted like metal/iron like. Rangoons had a foul spoiled sweet taste. I called to tell them and she said “ok thank you!” How is the place in business? Probably the worst I have ever had.

It has all the charm you’d expect from a cozy, “mom-and-pop,” hole-in-the-wall restaurant — but what really stood out was the respectful service and reasonable wait for fresh, hot food. While the flavor was decent, the staff’s attention to detail made the experience memorable. They even double-checked my order, adding chopsticks and napkins without me having to ask — a simple touch that shows they care about quality. If you’re in the Roanoke area and craving a quick, no-fuss takeout spot with friendly service, this little gem is worth a visit!
