See All ReviewsAbsolutely love China Moon! I’ve been here multiple times and they never disappoint. The food is consistently delicious, but what really sets them apart is the hospitality. The owners go above and beyond to make you feel at home, and it truly shows. It’s rare to find a place that combines great food with such a warm, personal touch. A hidden gem in Universal City.
First and last time in this place. There were nothing I liked. The enter restaurant smells bad,not a clean smell but a dirty one. The lady who served us looks dirty(I am sorry if some people think I am rude, just the truth). The service was whatever, the atmosphere was sad. The food, food food, nothing to say about it 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽
To start with they told us they did not have a dinner meal with orange chicken that we would have to order the meal for 2 to get the orange chicken. I ordered the general chicken and my wife and daughter got the orange chicken for 2. She told us it was the same but everything was doubled. Turns out it was not. The meal for 2 comes with 1 small rice, 1 egg roll and 2 wontons, 2 bowls of soup same as the dinner meal just double. We were shorted 1 bowl of soup and had to go back inside. When we got home they had given us the for 2 meal with general chicken and the dinner meal with orange chicken. The only real difference I could see was the general chicken had 1 pepper 🌶️ in it but it was not spicy at all. It had no real flavor, both had a hint of orange but the flavor was not consistent. The wontons were not wontons, at least they were just fried bread with no filling. The best part of the whole meal was the egg roll and the fortune cookie, the rest of the food got thrown in the trash. I am really disappointed we were really looking forward to good Chinese food.
