The portions were generous and the quality was really good. We had potato skins, loaded potato and burger with pulled pork. Too much to eat 😵💫. They are closing for the winter. If you are in the area in the spring through fall I would definitely stop.
Driving from Houghton down to LP on a Monday after college visit in October. Nothing was open. Found the Chomp House and pleasantly surprised. Clean inside. Friendly table service. Great onion rings. Giant baked potatoes; we got them topped with chili, and pulled pork (smoked in house). Nice hot dinner when we thought we would be stuck with gas station fare. Would definitely stop again if traveling in US 2 in the UP.
Clean, friendly new restaurant with the most amazing, lightly battered deep fried portabella mushrooms. Burgers a huge and juicy. Fries were a bit too salty for our taste, though
