I can't see paying $69.00 for a steak then flushing it down the toilet the next day. think about it take 3 twenty dollar bills, a five, 4 ones, and what ever the tip is going to be cause you know your going to have drinks also put it in the toilet bowl then flush it. Now think about how many kids that would feed that don't get to eat.
Amazing! Every bit of everything was excellent. The sides, the dessert, the filet , and the wine. What a find in Vero Beach. Check out their specials especially on Sunday. Brussel sprouts, forest mushrooms , scalloped potatoes and creme brulee were amazing. 88 in their name refers to the minimum score the wines they serve.
By far one of the best meals I have ever had. For an appetizer we had the bacon slice, it was truly amazing and cooked perfectly, how you make bacon not salty I don't know! I had the filet with asparagus and scalloped potatoes. First the asparagus was perfectly cooked and lightly seasoned but full of flavor. Wow. The potatoes were hot and freshly made not reheated and were equally fantastic. The steak was so perfectly done, I literally cut it with a fork. Perfect meal. Head to toe. Carpaccio was good and brownie for desert was warm under very rich vanilla ice cream. Honestly there was nothing to complain about, service was great and even bathroom was clean. Don't miss this hidden gem.
