a month agoThe food here was absolutely amazing! Every dish was flavorful, and beautifully presented. The portions were generous, and the menu had a great variety of options to choose from. The service was also friendly and quick, which made the dining experience even better. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious food . I can’t wait to come back again!

a month agoAte there for lunch. Ordered a meat lovers stromboli, veggie pizza, and a burger and fries. The stromboli was huge and tasted amazing. My wife's veggie pizza was full of toppings. The burger was cooked just right. The only thing that was a hiccup was that the fountain soda machine was working right. The staff is very courteous and attentive. We have eaten Italian type food at many, many places. This will definitely be a favorite.

2 months agoMy co-worker came for a quick lunch. The three young men were very pleasant and attentive. Philly went above and beyond to ensure everything was efficient and we were taken care of! The pizza and fries are A1 light, fluffy, crispy 🤤 All of the food was fresh and hot 🔥 -S.Jones

2 months agoI’ve eaten here on a number of occasions and the food has been great. The young man working the register is always very friendly. I ordered a grilled chicken salad. Per the menu it comes with chicken grilled or fried, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, green peppers and black olives. When I arrived home I discover I was given chopped chicken with shredded lettuce and a ton of croutons. I knew this had to be a mistake. I called immediately and spoke with the manager and explained what happened. I was told sorry they were out of the regular chicken and no excuse was provided for the missing veggies. He stated I could come back tomorrow since I was home and I would be given a credit for the correct salad. I return the next day and I am told you can have a new salad but how the credit works is that you must make a $5 purchase then you get the salad. So to be clear, I already didn’t get what I paid for and you want me to spend more money? Sad part is had I gotten my salad as promised I would’ve spent way more than $5 in the future. I may only be one person and my business may not mean anything to you. But I want to ensure others are aware.

7 months agoI recently stopped by Chopped Cheese RVA, and I have to say — this place is truly a hidden gem in the city. I tried the Philly steak, the supreme pizza, and the chicken wings, and every single item impressed me. The Philly steak was packed with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and loaded with tender meat and melty cheese. You can tell they really care about quality because every bite was on point. The supreme pizza was just as good — fresh toppings, a nice crispy crust, and the perfect amount of sauce and cheese. It tasted like something made with real attention, not rushed or generic. And the chicken wings? Absolutely delicious. Juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. They easily became one of my favorite items on the menu.

7 months agoI stopped by for a chopped cheese and left more impressed than I expected. The food itself was pretty good savory, satisfying, and exactly what you’d hope for in a classic chopped cheese. The real surprise was the fresh cookies, which were absolutely awesome and felt like the perfect finishing touch. What truly set this place apart, though, was the customer service. From the moment I walked in, the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable, and that kind of service makes all the difference. Overall, solid food, amazing cookies, and fantastic service, I’ll definitely be coming back.

7 months agoI saw this place while doing Doordash. So I decided to give it a try. I went inside, were a polite young man greeted me. I asked him a few questions about the place. He said his father was the owner. I asked about the chopped cheese sandwich and said it was New York City style. So I ordered that with a bottled water. The place inside was clean. It had one TV in the corner. One unisex bathroom, it was clean. Plenty of seating. So if you live in the area or pass by this place you will recognize it as the Old Glen Allen Bistro. Which I never tried. So the young man brought my sandwich out, a 12 inch chopped cheese, with sauteed green peppers and onions and mayonnaise. The bread was warm and the ingredients nice and hot. The beef had great flavor and the cheese and peppers and onions as well. My only wish is that is had more beef! All in All a tasty Sandwich! Great service! Free parking. Plus! 8 months agoThis place is a wonderful hidden gem, and the food is all halal!! I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a 12inch Italian sub. Both were fresh and delicious-- my husband said the beef in the burger was mouthwateringly good. The owners are super friendly and even gave me 2 cookies for free. I wish I had known about this place earlier and wish them lots of success!
