I am not exaggerating when I say that the Chunky Burger is the BEST burger I have eaten from anywhere ever. It is extraordinary! Perfectly grilled, the bun perfectly toasted so the edges are crispy and tasty but the bun is somehow fluffy, not too stiff, not too soggy, the sauces perfectly mixed. So tender I could have eaten it through a straw, but still big and juicy. Yes, it is better than Whataburger and there was no line so service was fast and friendly! Honestly, I could have eaten another one right after, it was that good.
1st time dining. Good food, generous portions. Small dining room. Very attentive staff! Enjoyed the loaded nachos with "homemade" chips. Lots of creative, fair-style food options.
Went to Chunky’s for lunch with friends. Great fast and friendly service, I was really hungry so forgot to take pictures. We had the fried zucchini lightly breaded and delicious, I believe all the menu items are made fresh not prepackaged. Luckily I saved room for desert the sundae was fantastic. This is a must stop if you are traveling through Devine, TX.
