Pizza was phenomenal! Absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of our visit. Unfortunately, the customer service didn’t match the food. Our server was very friendly, but we constantly had to chase her down and she never really checked on us. When we first arrived, we sat for about 5 minutes before having to get up ourselves to ask for menus because she was busy talking to a coworker/friend. After sitting even longer, a manager (I’m assuming) came over and asked if we had been helped.. we hadn’t. She had to call the same server over just to take our order. At that point, she still hadn’t even acknowledged us or asked if we wanted drinks. Once we finally ordered our drinks and pizza, we barely saw her again until we were getting ready to leave and she asked if we were ready to close out. She was kind, but the overall service experience felt very lacking. Thankfully, the pizza made up for a lot because it was truly amazing.
Circa 1963 is one of those rooftop standouts that just hits the mark. Perched atop Hotel Indigo, this spot brings all the downtown energy — live music, city lights, and that effortlessly cool vibe that makes you want to linger. The wood-fired pizzas and small bites hit the spot, whether you’re lounging by the pool or tucked near the fire pits with a cocktail in hand. The mix of indoor and outdoor seating makes it perfect year-round, and the views? Unreal. Watching El Paso light up at night from up here feels like you’ve escaped somewhere far more cosmopolitan. Trendy, lively, and just the right amount of upscale — Circa 1963 nails the rooftop experience.
The pizza is super flavorful and they have the best gluten free crust around. The decor and ambiance is unique and they often have live music. I'm very impressed with the plants on their rooftop as well! Most places have fake or dying plants, but these are thriving and add to the rooftop oasis vibe.
Amazing view and vibe for a rooftop. Great views, vegetation, and design. Pricey, but beautiful.
Whaaat a Beautiful place!!! Definitely best vibes and views in downtown. The staff makes you feel at Home. Amazing Cocktails and great live music on Friday and Saturday nights.
Do NOT order the "nachos" 😂 the service was wonderful tho! The "nachos" were 90% dry salad greens with NO cheese, NO salsa, NO crema, nada, with a small handful of meat and beans that fell immediately into the dry spinach so you couldn't really get it on your chips. Don't offer vegan nachos if you don't know how to find or make vegan cheese, there's 1000 brands. Or just buy it off the vegan restaurant on the next block 😂 and so you're mostly eating dry chips and if you're lucky a couple crumbles of impossible meat or a few scattered black beans. But their pizzas are okay and their servers are kind and the view is always nice.
Friendly staff and good vibe. It's a good place to bring friends for a drinks and conversation. Fridays and Saturdays are busy and weekdays is best for lay back conversations. A reasonable variety of drinks with a short wine list. There are some light eats; pizza is my favorite with red wine. The view is fantastic to enjoy with your special someone.
This is my favorite bar in El Paso, as a Fort Worthian. The level of service and carisma provided by Amada, Deandra, and Paco is always above and beyond. After a few signature cocktails poolside or on the balcony overlooking the mountains and fire pit; you can get a hand crafted pizza cooked in the oven outside and served table side.
