See All ReviewsCame for lunch and had a very nice time. Food is solid, albeit expectedly overpriced. Loved the oyster selection, albacore carpaccio, and the cauliflowerrrrrr (don’t event get me started). Bartender makes a mean martini and the espresso was delicious. Great bread service too. Think there’s a very solid restaurant underneath some opening pains that they’re hopefully working out. Would definitely come back for a sunset dinner.
The restaurant is located in a lovely area, and the outdoor seating was very pleasant for a relaxed afternoon. The starters were delicious, and the service was attentive. I visited specifically for the lobster; while it was still tasty, it could have had more aroma and depth of flavor. Since mine was grilled, it was also slightly on the dry side.
We had a pleasant experience at Clark’s. Service from the hostess to the servers and support staff was very kind. They make a nice Belvedere martini with goat cheese stuffed olives. Will definitely come back for happy hour when martinis are half off! We enjoyed a bottle of Bartolo Mascarello Barbera d'Alba 2023, even though it was very young. The sourdough bread was good but not warm, and the butter was dangerously addicting. We enjoyed the Tuna carpaccio was very good. The clam chowder was good with the oyster crackers. The wedge salad was ok and needed extra dressing. The bacon was delicious but it barely had any blue cheese or eggs. We added the jumbo shrimp which weren’t that big and they were a bit slimy. The grilled oysters were ok but had too many toppings and a bit creamy. Overall, we had a nice time.
