See All ReviewsUpdate: ( Came in for another chance. Brought family that just flew in. The first thing out of the lady's mouth was attitude about the review. The entire time she was snarky and cold. I'm sure my mother will be back because my utisic nephew loves pizza and it's in walking distance as she doesn't drive. As for myself, I will not return. I tried. I really did. But after that display of childish behavior I will not. Re- written 3/15/26). Went there tonight, I'm not sure where to begin. They changed the setup so now they come to you at the table versus ordering out the counter. Maybe it's so staff can get tipped I'm not sure. We ordered a meatball add pepperoni and one pepperoni pizza. We always and I mean always every time we go there which is like once a week get the pepperoni for sure. It's usually covered in pepperonis like a ton. This time it came out and there was only like a handful across the whole pizza and it was bland. And super greasy. It's usually flavorful crispy pepperonis perfectly crispy crust. It's what Drew us in and got us telling others. The other pizza had to be started over on their own call because they made it wrong they said. When it came out it wasn't that hot and it was so bland you couldn't taste any individual piece of anything it had no flavor whatsoever. They did let us keep the first mistake pepperoni pizza cuz they remade it and it did have more pepperonis but not as many as it normally has. And the flavor was about the same as the first one. She kept saying she's going to give us a huge discount we got 30% off and we didn't pay for their mistaken pizza. I may give them another chance in the future. But the inconsistency and the changing of stuff when it wasn't broken... We looked forward to that and it was a super bummer. I want to stick to counter ordering because the pizzas are too small and the price is high for the size so it makes sense to cut out having the tip someone too and order at the counter. Especially if it's not going to be consistent each time we go.
It was very slow and it wasn’t good. We came here after hearing good recommendations. We arrived at 6pm. There were 3 tables occupied, not busy. We ordered by 6:10. Friendly waitress. We ordered a Stromboli appetizer, 2 side salads, and the Italian grinder sandwich. At 6:45 the first salad arrives no word on the 2nd. We asked and were told they were backed up. (Just one other table waiting on food). At 7:05 we said to cancel the other side salad. 7:15 the sandwich arrives. At 7:38 (almost 1.5 hrs later) the Stromboli appetizer arrives - with the canceled salad. All the food looked amazing. Big portions, smelled great. Unfortunately the Stromboli had completely raw dough in the middle. It was inedible. It took another 15 min to get the waitress to the table. Additionally we had to go to the bar to ask for our own refills and everyone seemed to bus their own tables to a bin by the bar when finished. Maybe it was an off night. It had great potential but it was bad. A really bad experience.
A must in Wimberly! Great cocktails, cute atmosphere, and really good food. Obsessed with the pizza - it had a sweetness to the dough - we got the goat cheese pizza, but removed the olives and subbed in sausage, bell peppers and hot honey. Highly highly recommend.
