Very chill atmosphere, friendly staff, great food, and reasonable prices.
Very good and very delicious food always it's all home made I love it
“Salsa” is consistency of water. And full of flies like every other eatery in a 50 mile radius. Be the best restaurant in Milam county and simply CLEAN
This is the second time me and my husband Drive through Rockdale. We stopped by and got tacos to go. We ordered five tacos and two large drinks for only $23. You can’t beat that price anywhere else. Everything was on point. Tacos are huge and delicious. Gentleman at the drive-through was very attentive and courteous. We will definitely will be stopping by again.
craving fulfilled !! i hadn't had menudo in a while so i gambled coming here to taste theirs and man it payed off ... it was delicious , seasoned perfectly good size and full of meat and grains ... i added a PATA to mines and it was good too recommend it!
Scratch made ridiculously delicious food for a very reasonable price firmly puts this place in my top three restaurants I have ever been to. My waitress made me and my group feel at home in this cozy comforting environment. I felt like I had been transported back to my childhood watching Grandma cook. I cannot recommend this place enough and I will be going back regularly. As a side note, they do not have a real online menu and the one that is there is fictitious and made by someone with malicious intent.
I have to say I was very surprised. We we all know that I am a foodie and love this kind of place where you are doing a wildcard. Well, this place I would have to recommend to all of you. From the outside, doesn't have that curve appeal, but once inside this location's selection of color and art is done well. Reminds me of a place in a small village in Mexico. Colors are bright with a taste of Mexican American culture art on their walls. Went with my other brother and baby sister, as he was treating us to some lunch. I decided to try 4 different flavors on the alcarte menu, which I recommend. A little taste of something different. 1 egg and bacon, 1 bean and bacon, 1fajita (beef with all veggies), and a carna Giada, all were very tasty and yummy and only $2 bucks. Can't wait till the next lunch or dinner, so that I can mix up and taste some more fabulous Mexican food.
If people rate this the best in town, then I’m afraid to try the rest of the other restaurants. The tortillas were very tough, (maybe they’re softer for customers not taking an order to go) but all of our six tacos were made with tough tortillas. The salsa was okay but it was watery. My papas a la americana didn’t have any chorizo, the chorizo is what gives that type of taco flavor, all it had was a few (and I mean like four) potatoes and pico de gallo.
