9 years agoCoco's had gone through a lot of changes in the last few years and they seem to be settling into a formula that works for families and the everyday person. The food is great! There are healthy options along with comfort food. The desserts are a must. Quality of service depends on which server you get. A few servers are mediocre but some of them are really fantastic. The location is awesome. The atmosphere is nothing too special but it's clean, comfortable and seems to be improving every time we visit.

10 years agoThey support live music! Always has a friendly staff and good food. Usually a craft beer special during shows.

11 years agoUgh... They need to clean this place up. Went to dine there an had to leave after watching several of the wait staff toke up on skunky spliffs behind the place. This looks really bad and is a bad way to represent Marquette. Looks like a bunch of Junkies trying to play restaurant. Some of friends say the food is ok but have seen drug use in the back too. Get it together Cocos

11 years agoGood Food but pack lunch for the dinner service wait. Service was really slow but the food was good. Im going to go back once more to see if it was just a bad night or something. The Seafood is very good and okay price

11 years agoA stop in Marquette is not complete without breakfast or lunch at Coco's. This is a staple and one of the best Sunday Breakfasts you can find in the area. The location on the lake makes it that much better. Events catered by Cocos are also a guarantee for quality and inventive food combinations. If you want some flair with flavor, give Cocos a try.

12 years agoI've been to Coco's several times, the last two times for their Friday fish fry. Let me first say that they have one of the best fish fry's I've experienced. But while their food can be very good, the service leaves quite a bit to be desired. The wait time for food can be quite excessive, given that the times I've been there it was not very busy. The first time we went there for a fish fry they were out of bread, which is supposed to come with the meal. Although they didn't offer a refund they did offer a free piece of cake (the sell premium-quality cakes from Joe's Cakes out of Marquette.) The second time we got a fish fry we took it to go. Once again they were out of bread. We also noticed that they forgot our coleslaw and silverware. We went back and they offered us each a free piece of cake. Don't get me wrong, the cake is very good, but I prefer to know that I'm getting the food I paid for, especially for the price that you pay at this restaurant.

13 years agoWe are kicking ourselves for not trying this place sooner. The homemade food was delicious. We pigged-out on burgers (garlic lovers with aioli and southwestern with guac, peppers, etc.) and sides of sweet potato fries/maple mayonnaise for dipping and coleslaw. My intention was to take half home - hah! Unfortunately, after eating everything we did not have room for a piece from the countless cakes. Though we didn't try them, there were 4 interesting soup selections and the lunch menu included salads, quiche, sandwiches (1/2 to pair with soup/salad) and more. The staff was delightful and though we were not there at the busiest time this is food we will gladly wait for (and carry out,too) in the future. Don't let the bad reviews keep you away!

13 years agoWell it would have been nice if Coco's had amended their website to reflect their REAL hours. We rode our bikes down 8 miles to have breakfast ON A FRIDAY MORNING only to find they were closed. When I called I didn't get an apology just a nasty voice saying breakfast Sat and Sun only. Nice.
