Disappointed i came to visit a friend and came to this place, at the 1st place when we stepped in, it was buffet only cause short of staff, then buffet is only 1 meat and all veggies you can eat, really people? I asked for 1 chicken tender and they asked me if I'm not senior i have to pay 5 dlls extra. But wait it minute, i thought it was buffet, I guess buffet with limitation. I will visit my friends again but I won't come back to this place.
This establishment has secured it's place in this wonderful city of McGregor... I enjoyed my visit. The service was promp and friendly. My server was very attentive and kind. The food was very good. I think some of it could have been a little better however overall it was good. The atmosphere is a bit dated but it definitely still gives me a sense of that home cooking style of place. It has that country feel. I really enjoyed my visit. I would recommend you try it also.
Always a joy to come here. The food we had this time was tasty, but I did add salt to my plate. We had three in our party eat from the buffet, but our daughter ordered a cheeseburger. We also had the key lime pie and German chocolate pie to go. (Came back the next day for a slice of chocolate dream pie.) From our daughter: "Excellent and amazing. I got a burger and a side of tater tots. The staff forgot the side for a minute, but it's fine because I got FREE fries along with my tater tots. Burger- HUGE, but delicious. Tater tots- Almost reminds me of a McDonalds hashbrown. Pretty good. Fries- ABSOLUTELY AWESOME!!! WOULD DEFINITELY COME AGAIN FOR THESE FRIES! Great service and great prices. I highly recommend."
