My wife loves road trips & going to different hole in the wall places to eat. So my son & I decided we would bring her here for Mother's Day. She was so excited as we drove 2 ½ hours. We pulled up, sign days open, Google said open until 9pm. But Clearly this place is closed down. Dogs, chickens, roosters roaming around inside. Nothing but dirt floor.
Wow! This brisket rivals my own! Superior flavor, texture and seasoning. Eclectic atmosphere and many 1970 kitchen tables utilized for comfy seating. Great service and friendly kind workers.
Yall, this is a diamond in the rough! The atmosphere, food, and ppl are what you only hope to find when driving through a little town. Phil is a character, I'm sad I missed meeting his wife. If you're driving through Coleman stop here. You will NOT regret it. 🙂
