Best soft raspberry ice cream. Tried other place never as good as the Collinsville Drive In
classic Americana food and ice cream. Takes forever to get food. Food has that fair food style taste and is made fresh. Proportions are all over the place. One of us got a burger called the big Joe with fries and it was a underwhelming portion and I'd call it a small Joe. The other got chicken and fries and there portion was huge. A large fountain drink is actually a 2 XL drink. The restaurant has a old classic vibe and decor . A bullet hold in the window adds to the vibe of the place. Seems to be a place frequented by the elderly locals and people just driving by. Clean restrooms. Overall the place is okay but I won't purposely go out of my way for it again.
Great place! If you are looking for a wonderful place to have lunch or dinner this is a great option. The sandwiches, soups, fries, and ice cream are all delicious. The staff is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. Dine in or enjoy the great views dining outside. We highly recommend the soft peanut butter ice cream!
