See All ReviewsI was craving empanadas, so I drove from Maumelle to Sherwood to try the Colombian ones for the first time. They were fried a bit harder than I prefer, and the flavor and texture were different from the Argentinian and Guatemalan styles I’m used to. If I were already in the area, I’d give them another try, but I wouldn’t make the drive across town just for them. Still, they’re worth checking out if you’re nearby!
Was craving some Colombian food, and decide to try this place, and do not regret it! Started with the empanadas that were very flavorful and crispy. They make all ingredients from scratch! The tried the plantain shrimp baskets and they were absolutely delicious and so filling!! 100% recommend this place to calm you Colombian food cravings!
I tried Colombian food for the first time and I’m officially obsessed! I had the arepa quesuda, fried yuca, salchipapas, and mango juice — all super flavorful and satisfying — but the real surprise was the buñuelos with caramel and pineapple jam. They looked like simple fried dough balls, but the combo of crispy outside, fluffy inside, rich caramel, and tangy-sweet jam blew me away. It was honestly one of the best desserts I’ve ever had. If you’re curious about Colombian cuisine, I highly recommend this place — it’s exciting, delicious, and full of unforgettable flavors!
