My cup had some mold and hair complete gunk in it. The aroma in the restaurant wasnt unfamiliar due to previous experiences at other bar/restaurants being of good quality food but for staff not to make sure everything was clean. Bottom line I would be careful eating here or anywhere I told them to cancel my order and left immediately. Will not return.
The chips were multi color bag chips. The salads had tomatoe ends that should have been thrown out in the kitchen. The food quality was no where near the visual or flavor of typical Mexican restaurants especially if you are use to good similar Restaurants in Asheboro. The waiter needs more training . He took our order brought the food never asked about salad dressings never checked on us or refilled drinks. My wife and I were disappointed since both service and food quality were well below par. This was our first and last visit. Sadly this was on Mother's day after church.
Not awful but not the best either. Pretty average.
Stopped at this spot a few years ago, came back on our way through town and stopped we were pleasantly surprised at the service and quality of food. Our waitress name was Heather, she paid close attention to the details on our order and catered to all of our needs. Our drinks never got low once! only thing that needs improvement is the sewage smell in the restrooms.
Waitress was rude, order came out wrong and waitress tried to overcharge me for a side of sour cream. However, the manager saved the day and was nice and corrected my bill. I would highly recommend they screen their wait staff, worst service ever had there in 10 years!
Ordered to go and the bag ripped as soon as I got to my truck. My mother and grandma ordered taco salads… they were more like soup. Could probably use a straw to suck it up. I ordered the steak fajitas and they were good but online price is 11.00 and after pickup, looking at receipt it was over 19.00.
Me and my family have been coming to Compadres for years, literally was one of our favorite restaurants! good prices, good food, and great service. but tonight me and my boyfriend stopped in and we both got an ACP, when he gets half way through he spits out a price of chicken because he said it didn’t taste right and i looked at it and it was pink - so it wasn’t cooked fully. he sat that piece to the side and continued eating his food hoping it was just that piece because my food was fine , about 5 minutes later he asked me “what is that??” and i looked at the rice on his fork and it looked like blood… im not sure if it was for sure or not but it was gooey/sticky texture and blood red in color.. i thought “surely that isn’t blood, maybe it was a pepper or an ingredient but as i was looking at the rest of his food and mine and there were no peppers used or any other red ingredient… i did bring this to our server’s attention and she was understanding and took his meal off and said she’d have a look at his plate - but we both completely lost our appetites and i don’t think ill be returning here because this is a potential big issue… i added photos but it is kind of hard to see what i’m talking about in the photos.
Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The food was great. Mini chimichangas were fresh and tasty. My Milanesa was tasty too. Rice was a bit dry but otherwise delicious.
