Decent spot to get drinks, however that is if you can even get a drink. There's literally not one empty spot at the bar, there's too many stools. And god forbid if you try to squeeze in between a drunk townie who gets offended that you're in their area. Just needs to be a separate, specified area to order a drink. Last time we went there was a discrepancy on our bill, we were charged for a few extra drinks, but e bartender was very polite and professional and made sure that she fixed the mistake which we appreciated. Other than that not being able to order a drink easily, no other issues.
The staff was very polite and the head chef even offered to remake my food for me and have it taken off the bill when my pasta came out undercooked. However, I noticed a few health code violations that just don't sit right with me in an eating establishment. The straws that go in all of the drinks sit unwrapped in a cup that is accessible to the public and waitresses stack the plates when carrying them out to customers so that food is touching the bottoms of other plates. I did not even want to drink my water. Having this problems with these prices is just not worth it. I wish anyone that goes a better experience than me.
As a restaurant reviewer for a newspaper my wife and I found the atmosphere inviting although the tables are a little too close. We sat at the bar and ordered happy hour wings. They were very good only issue no wet wipes for cleaning up after. Beers were cold girls were nice and smiling. We had a personal pizza and I had a prime rib sandwich excellent. The one and only issue the fries were cold. Highly recommend we will be back.
Update: My family and I were at the restaurant yesterday on Friday June 5th 2026 celebrating my son's graduation from the Delaware Military Academy. We were able to use the upstairs dining area for our private party. We had roughly 40 people and everyone had a fantastic time. The food was excellent and everyone working there gave 100% as they strived to give us a great experience. I cannot say enough about how great this restaurant is and how accommodating they are. If you are planning a party I highly recommend to host it there. I think it would be an excellent venue for anything from graduations, birthdays, or even a Christmas party. This was our second graduation party hosted there. Our first one was last year when our oldest son graduated from Conrad School of Science. Our experience last year was phenomenal and that's why we went again. As stated above it was fantastic and I will definitely be going to this restaurant to host parties in the future. Thank you chef Adolfo! The below review is going there for a regular dinner: Great food. It does get loud because the space is small. It's a good place for watching the game but it was also cozy enough that my wife & I went there on Valentine's Day for a romantic dinner, which was off a special menu for Valentine's Day.
Update: Thank you Corner Cove for the response and explanation. While I won't ever return, best of luck with the restaurant. Bottom line: Don't bother. Arrived early on a Saturday (April 18, 2026; 5:45PM). Live band with inside amplified eclectic music mandated sitting outside if one wanted to have a conversation. Then the external door was opened to extend the audio suffering while we endured the outside cold temps. Ordered a friend's recommended Gamberi pizza with shrimp along with a small plain cheese for comp. I expected the Gamberi as a white garlic shrimp "scampi - like" treat, but found it ruined (personally) with a red tomato sauce. The plain cheese might as well have been a reheated frozen pizza. Good service, mediocre wine, but just couldn't overcome the poor food and musical atmosphere. Plenty of better local options. Won't return anytime soon.
10/10 Great portions. Great service. Price was great! Our server Allison was the best! Crap soup was the biggest most delicious bowl of soup I’ve had in a long time. Chicken parm was excellent. Salmon thumbs up! Pizza extremely good.
Amazing new favorite place. We just found them. Cheesesteak pizza had the most delicious flavors in the Wilmington area and the crust crunch was great. Also had the chicken bacon wrap that was fantastic. Our service was second to none, thank you Rachel. Will be back very soon.
We hosted our daughter’s graduation party in the upstairs private room and could not be happier with how things turned out! Angela was a dream to work with for planning, Michael was a stellar bartender n host- he went above and beyond….We had several trays of hot food options, salad and pizza….the food was excellent and we were able to decorate and make the venue our own!!!! We will be repeat customers for sure!!!!! Thank you, Corner Cove!!!!
