I’ve eaten here several times before and after hikes in the highlands and this is one of the best little restaurants I’ve ever found. The food is delicious with large portions for a good price. Very friendly service. It’s also pretty convenient to be able to fill up on gas after you eat.
You may think it’s just a gas station or hole in the wall location but it was absolutely delicious!!! I had a burger and my husband had chicken fried steak. We ate there after hiking and scarfed everything down plus took home some delicious pies!!
They are the nicest people! They even give us food that someone ordered but never picked up(in this persons defense there was a snow storm going on). They have old fashioned cokes in glass bottles like Nehi, Dr Enuf, Cheerwine and others. Their food is always hot and fast.
