Was working in the area and stopped in for lunch. Got a skillet since they have breakfast all day. Service was good and fast. Food was good and has old café vibe which is great .
2 of us stopped in for breakfast, 1st meal was everything skillet was good but hardly any meat in it, OE eggs were cooked OH absolutely no yolk and tiny toast with margarine thick (yuck). 2nd meal was sausage and biscuits and 2 OE eggs, hey there was yolk with those eggs but very cheaply made looking and tasting, toast margarine thick (yuck). Coffee was absolutely terrible the flavor was of extremely watered down low grade hazelnut flavor. The orange juice was good. 36.10 our bill was, I'd never waste my money here again sorry disappointed. The waitresses were awesome, the restaurant was cold half wore my coat on my legs and sat as far from the door possible, very old looking atmosphere but was clean. Looking at the other ppls sandwiches looked so very cheap also, never seen bread slices so small with our toast and others sandwiches on other random ppls plates. Maybe other food is better here, wouldn't recommend breakfast nor sandwiches here. This restaurant use to be the hot spot for breakfast, 36.10 lesson learned....not again
Columbus Day, Monday, early afternoon. Have drove by this place heading to western Wisconsin many times in the past 20 years. Today I stopped and experienced. Had an excellent experience. Our waitress took care of us from the moment we walked in the door. Ordered within 5 minutes and 10 to 12 minutes later. Everything was good. They were out of dark chicken meat, but the white was juicy and flavorful. Three of us had burgers and they were excellent. Definitely will stop here again.
