See All ReviewsThe place has potential but food needs to get updated from the 80s to modern time. Pizza dough has no flavour and sauce has no distinct seasoning. Some garlic, onion and basil could help the sauce a lot. The dough needs to be redone completely as it lacks any character (Same as gas station pizza). The staff and the actual building are very pleasant.
Good experience overall. The cinnamon blossoms were incredible to me. If you want some buttery, moist, brown sugary goodness, that’s where it’s at. The brown sugar is cooked and may present a caramelized like texture, but I really enjoyed it that way. You get 6 pieces. Had it as the appetizer lol. Got a small, thick crust pepperoni, mushroom, and double cheese pizza. The thick crust is two doughs put together and they sandwich the extra cheese between the two layers. Though I ordered it well done, parts of the dough were a little undercooked, however it was not enough, for me, to detract from the taste of the pizza, it was still really good. The waitress did make the suggestion for the cinnamon blossoms and I am thankful, she nailed it. She could have been a bit more attentive, we had to wait on her a little to ask for a refill and to get some parmesan cheese but I was pleased with her service in general. I would return here.
A friend told us about this place and being that we are on a covered bridge kick, naturally, we had to stop here. This place did not disappoint. After doing half the covered bridge tour in Ashtabula County before stopping here, we were starving. Ordered two pepperoni pizzas and a pitcher of Coke. I absolutely love that you can order a pitcher and you get 2 refills max. That worked perfectly for our family of 4 - didnt even need the 2nd refill, we were full! Service was friendly. It took a little bit to get our pizza, but it was fresh and hot and I will always wait longer for that. The large pizza is pretty big, bigger than most large pizzas from big chain pizza places. The atmosphere was what made it. You are literally eating inside an old over bridge. It was decorated well and has an old school feeling. A great place to eat with your family. Highly recommend!
