Fri 4/ 10/26 . I'm from Louisiana, and I know Gulf Shrimp & REAL Catfish when I taste it. This is truly seasoned food, NOT frozen out of a bag. They have the best gumbo loaded with shrimp, and cold & hot boiled shrimp. They lightly bread and fry shrimp that is amazing. The salad bar is beyond basic as you usually see at other buffets. It also has specialty salads like broccoli salad and a few different kinds of potato salads. This restaurant is clean, and their a/c works very well. They come around and clean your table often. I've noticed others have complained about wait times for the buffet to be reloaded and that baffles me because their food is amazing and worth a few minutes of waiting for the best around. I'm not friends with the owner or have any part in this business whatsoever, but Shannon is amazing and accommodating to her customers. I'm happy to drive the 42 mile round trip to eat here and often. I'm recommended this place to 6 of my friends locally and they agree. Go check it out, you will love it! $20 for military, $25 reg price.
Great food, the fried catfish is cooked perfectly. Shrimp are good size and cooked just right. I'm from Louisiana, this is the best seafood in NE TX. Shannon is a great host, loves to talk and makes you feel welcome. All you can eat, but would go if it wasn't! Well worth the money!
First time trying this place. Loved all of food. Some of the best fried shrimp I've ever had. It was lightly breaded and huge. The boiled shrimp both cold and hot were excellent. Catfish was great as well. Overall great experience. Will definitely return! The owner was friendly!
