Seafood and drinks were delicious! Plan to return and try the wings. Bartenders were friendly and funny. Atmosphere is laid back with limited seating. Had a great time.
The atmosphere was fabulous. Bar and restaurant at the same time. Music good. Waiter was excellent. The food was definitely giving what it was suppose to give. Crab legs, Boiled eggs, and corn, shrimp. Definitely giving the flavor. I’m mad there leaving us soon
The food was amazing! This is my friends’ and my third time coming here, and Craving Crab has never disappointed. It’s about 30 minutes from where I live, but I will happily make the drive every time. The food is so flavorful and absolutely delicious. If you haven’t been, I highly recommend it to everyone. The staff is also very nice.
i have been hearing the hype about craving crab for months. let me start with the good~ the sauce is to die for. 10/10 1000/10 immaculate and it carried the entire restaurant, but outside of the sauce i ran into problems on all fronts. i chose to eat in because i dont live in raleigh, inside was dead, very dead this sunday 1/4/26 (which may be why it wasn’t the best) was only customer… anyway me and my girl got seated drink taken cool normal… then we wait.. wait.. and waiting. we waited for like 45 min for 2 orders of crab & shrimp. a lot of employees was leaving with food while we waited so i think they was making their food the whole time we waited. the food - the sauce is fire as i said. 10/10 beef sausage is a lovely pleasure but the corn was soggy shrimp wasn’t all cleaned and some the crab legs was hollow and for 40$ sucked. high quality sauce low quality ingredients long wait time
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Craving Crab Seafood Review Craving Crab Seafood is hands-down one of the best seafood spots around. The food is always fresh, seasoned perfectly, and cooked just the way you want it. Every visit feels like a treat. But the real star? The Carolina Sauce. That sauce is unbelievable rich, flavorful, and full of that perfect Carolina-style kick. It’s the kind of sauce that makes you dip everything in it… seafood, potatoes, corn, whatever’s on your plate. It’s addictive in the best way. The portions are generous, the service is friendly, and the quality never misses. If you love seafood with real flavor, Craving Crab Seafood needs to be at the top of your list. And trust me—get the Carolina Sauce. It takes the whole experience to another level.
I’ve only been to two other places for a seafood boil in Raleigh but I am always up to trying a new place. This place was an instant regret. I should have just walked straight out the front door after initially using their disgusting restroom. Be aware that the “Cravingcrabs” restaurant is actually inside a bar which name is questionable because there were two different signs on the outside. I definitely won’t be coming back here for a second time. Seafood boil was questionable, over priced with gratuity automatically included. How this place has a 4.5 rating is a mystery. (Apologies for not taking a pic before I ate one of the eggs and the only corn on the cob. Also, should you choose to bless this establishment with your hard earned money, you may want to bring your own eating utensils and crab cracking tools as we were given NOTHING!)
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Experience at Craving Crabs! If you’re in Raleigh and craving seafood that hits the spot, you’ve got to check out Craving Crabs inside Touchdown Sports Bar. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming laid back but full of energy. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. The star of the show? The crabs. Perfectly seasoned, fresh, and bursting with flavor every bite had that melt in-your mouth goodness that makes you slow down just to savor it. The portions were generous, and the seasoning balance was spot-on: bold enough to kick, but not overpowering. You can tell they put real love into their cooking. Pair that with the atmosphere at Touchdown good music, plenty of screens for the game, and a fun crowd and you’ve got the ultimate hangout spot. Whether you’re there with friends, family, or just want to treat yourself, this is one of those hidden gems that deserves way more recognition. I’ll definitely be back. If you’re anywhere near New Bern Avenue, do yourself a favor and stop by. Craving Crabs doesn’t just serve food they serve an experience. 🦀🔥
The food: IF A BOIL is what you are looking for, then this is the place. The seasoning is 10/10. The portions are 10/10. The quality is 10/10. I got the black label plate. 1 lobster tail, shrimp 🍤, eggs, potatoes, and corn and crab legs. I had it with the sausage, and it just wasn't my vibe. So, they accommodate my request for no sausage more shrimp and eggs as a substitute. The boil sauce is drinkable. It's good where you can eat it cold. The service: They are a text away during operating hours. My order has been spot on. If they are out of a particular item. They will credit your money back.
