I pulled up on a Sunday afternoon. There was only one car in front of me. After the car left I pulled up to the window waited for about 7 minutes and no one ever opened the window to take my order. Yet there were 2 cars behind me and there orders were taken. Yet I waited and waited and no one ever took my order. Always shitty service at this location. Weslaco is never an issue great speedy service all the time.
I usually love this place, recently service has been down atmosphere is dirty tables are dirty, staff seems to not want to work, a group of us went in today to order some desert we tried to order fresas con crema staff said they didn’t have cream for the fresesas, then we tried to order banana splits they told us the bananas are spoiled, then we tried to maybe order one last thing some delights staff said they don’t have fruit, wasn’t early either staff had enough time to prepare ingredients, or are they just getting paid to be on there phone. Don’t understand how they don’t have anything or place was a ghost town, not what it used to be!
Walked in with one car waiting in the drive thru. Wasn’t even sure if the store was open. All TVs off no one at the counter. Was in store for about 20mins. Not once did the guy/kid acknowledge me. Another gentleman came in after me and left after about of few minutes waiting. I understand being the only one and working on an order. But a simple. “Hello. Or I’ll be right with you” can go along way. Especially if you’ve noticed that someone has been waiting patiently the entire time.
