2 weeks agoGreat food and service. Atmosphere had a small town diner feel to it. The menu had plenty of options including breakfast served all day. My kids liked the mickey mouse pancakes. The plates came with good amount of food.

a month agoAte breakfast here on 4/20 and it was awesome. Very clean, very affordable and one of the nicest waiters we have ever had in all our dining experiences. Paula was awesome, quick witted, wonderfully knowledgeable and made excellent recommendations for us. Quick with refills and an absolute delight. We will be back.

2 months agoAmazing! Atmosphere, food and service were all solid. The pancakes were amazing. We were passing through but I would definitely come back if I find myself in the area again!

3 months agoCame here all the time when we first moved to Alvarado 2 years ago and the food was great. Hot, fresh, and great portion sizes. But recently, not sure if they got a new cook or what, I’ve received lukewarm food and when I send it back to get a warmer plate, the portions are much smaller than the first time around. The serving staff is great but back of house is unfortunately ruining the service.

5 months agoWelcoming, spacious, clean and neat place to eat and no long wait for your food! We ordered the country fried steak and were impressed with the generous, hot, fresh and delicious choice as were the breakfast tacos. Our kids had the nutella and banana french toast was nicely grilled with crispy edges. We also enjoyed the Denver omelette with fruit and sourdough toast. Count on restrooms smelling fresh and clean. The staff is kind, welcoming and assertive, thanks Chelsea! This place is a must visit!

6 months agoLooks way better than it's plain exterior. Inside looks freshly updated with a modern clean country design. Even the restrooms. I like it! Love the entrance with the Fall decor as well and the homemade pie slices! Food was decent. Got the classic breakfast with waffles. I recommend the pancakes over the waffles though. Waffle tasted thick and needed slathering of syrup to bump it's plain taste. Coffee's good. Banana pecan oatmeal excellent! Staff were warm & friendly. Our waitress (brunette lady) was attentive & quick. Lovely warm lady. I'd come back here & try their lunch menu. Lots of parking shared with Brookshire Bros & other stores.

8 months agoThis place is absolutely cool.It's very nice.The food is phenomenal, very fresh.I definitely recommend going here highly.I don't have any money.I just gave you a friend.I don't I wish I don't.
