3 months agoReally nice greeted me as soon as I walked up, beautiful personality, told her I saw reviews on TikTok and had to give it a try. I ordered the crab and shrimp deluxe potato - and OMGeee it was so good! Started as lunch and finished it off as my dinner - as a 1st time customer I was able to get a complimentary drink - I got pineapple punch - delicious! I will be back soon & I have already told people!!!

4 months agoCame today and they were closed. Also tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. There were no signs anywhere that mentioned they were closed. As an African American it’s hard to continue supporting black businesses.

4 months agoAbsolutely fantastic; got 2 Crab Pototoes with my daughter today and they were absolutely divine 10/10. Service was personal and efficient not missing any detail on her creation. The 20min wait allowed me to run an errand and take a call while the atmosphere was very welcoming. We will definitely be back for the garlic crabs and eggs as well as the tasty drinks.

5 months agoThe food was fresh and delicious. The veggie potato was the best broccoli and cheese potato I have ever had. My husband got the seafood one, and when I tasted his, I was shocked I did not regret my decision of the veggie. They were both amazing! His potato was fire and I did dip back a couple times. But somehow she made the veggie one just as fire! He even ate the rest of mine after finishing his. We also had the homemade ice tea which was perfectly made and hit the spot. We bought dessert as well. Today's special was biscoff cheesecake. The cheesecake had caramel, chocolate, plenty of biscoff cookie and the crust was buttery and perfect. This is one of those restaurants you will double back on right away. I have not stopped thinking about that food four days later and would have been back if I lived closer.

11 months agoFoods delicious really nice place! The drinks were so good. Bread pooping is delicious!I had the crabs and shrimp! My wife had the salad! Will be back!!!

a year agoMs. Erica is a delight! Her customer service is on point! I ordered a Signature Crab Pot Potato and she told me it would be a 7 minute wait so she would wave me over once my food was finished. My wait turned into an hour because she was so busy and Ms. Erica was not pleased! She comp’d the meal with no hesitation. The meal was superb! I couldn’t even finish the food because the portion was enough for 2 meals. The food is great but the customer service really shines at the Culinary Chemist and I’ll always come back because of that.

3 years agoAll I can say right now is Lord have mercy.... every bite full of traditional family recipe flavors. Ms. Erica has created something special back there in that kitchen. My body refused to put my spoon down while my mind was struggling to understand why this food was so good. Food so good that you can feel every bite down to your toes. 5 years agoThe ladies who run the establishment is so beyond nice and personable, it made me want to come back instantly. When I got home and opened my 2 baked potatoes, i was beyond happy. So much food! We couldn't finish them. As an added treat, i was given a free slice of Louisville cake and that bad boy was so damn delicious. Im still thinking bout it! Man what a great place. I will definitely tell others.
