The restaurant itself was nice. The food not so nice. I ordered a grilled cheese and asked them to make the bread REALLY dark, like almost burn it as it is easier for me to eat. I get it and it is golden and the cheese isn't even melted. I told the server to have them put it back on the grill to get it dark. 15 minutes later he shows up with a sandwich almost exactly like the fist one. We asked them to take it back. If I'm gonna pay almost $9 for a simple grilled cheese how hard is it to get it right. Nevermind the fact that my son in laws burger was well done and dry when he asked for medium rare. We probably won't be back to eat there again. Very dissatisfied.
The food was excellent. Had fish basket and my husband had the shrimp basket. The fish was really, really good. I'm picky about my fish. Don't like strong fishy taste and this was great. My husband's shrimp were really good too. Our waitress was very helpful and nice. Would certainly go back.
Our waitress was very friendly and attentive! The food was expensive but the portions are large. Still the area, so it's what to be expected all things considered. A nice quaint little place to get a meal if you're in town. Everything was tasty and made well. Definitely would come back!
