See All ReviewsThe portions were huge, which is great because you get your money's worth. If that's your thing. I thought the bibimbap in the stone pot was great. My spouse thought her soup was a bit salty. The pancake was good. The staff was nice and the atmosphere was typical restaurant vibes.
We came here on Thursday - There was was plenty of tables to choose from but we reservations just in case. We're were seated right away. They brought us the menu plus tea and water in a container. And of course cups. First time coming here, there were plenty of things to choose from on the menu. We opted for the standard items when going to a Korean restaurant. The tofu soup with beef in it was rich and thick. I could have just eaten that and rice. So delicious. Next, the bonchon was decent. Japchae is definitely a winner 🏆 as well. The noodles were well infused with flavor. The bolgogi was decent. Last but not least was the Kalbi. This was my first time having LA style kalbi. The kalbi wasn't dry and had decent amount of fat. Flavor was excellent. Good amounts of charring. Since we had our kid with us. Secret: ask for a pair of scissors so you could cut the meat off the kalbi and clean it off the bone 😉. It is much easier for them to eat it. Hidden gem of Korean BBQ restaurant right in Daly City.
Banchan was really good but the actual tofu soup was a bit disappointing. It was too salty to finish imo and definitely overpriced (about $21 if I remember correctly)
