If you look up "authentic" in the dictionary you'd see a picture of DalMaekju! The food was absolutely delicious and the service friendly! I had one of the soups - unfortunately, I don't remember which one. But it was spicy and had beef and was absolutely delicious! And the banchan were so good. The kimchi was some of the best I've tasted. Plus all the other delicious sides. I highly recommend this place!
This is the former Gomonae restaurant - it's a small family run Korean restaurant with delicious soups and banchans. Gomonae moved out of their smaller location in the same strip mall to this spot which is larger and has a liquor license. Same delicious food. Yukgejang is very nice. No more fried chicken though. Service is so friendly too. Loved the purple rice. They are open in the morning until maybe 7 or 8pm I believe - not quite sure about dinner hours so double check.
Came here for the Somerri Gookbab from Gomonae. Use to go to Gomonae for years before they moved here. This is my favorite soup to get. Super healthy, not salty and perfect the way it is. The aunties here really know what they’re doing!
